The holidays bring such joy for so many people, young and old, every walk of life. It's a time to celebrate family, friends, and even life itself. But for others, the holidays can be stressful and sad.

During a consultation, clients may need to discuss how they can deal with a cosigned debt. It might be that they want to untangle themselves from a cosigned debt or it might be that they need to protect someone that has co-signed a debt obligation for them.

We often hear the phrase "Too good to be true". Well, unfortunately when it comes to debt settlement, that statement may be truer (and costly) than you might think.

When you are facing the possibility of filing a bankruptcy it is of utmost importance that you understand that there are pros and cons with filing any type of bankruptcy.

Many people travel under the assumption that once you file bankruptcy, you will not be able to reestablish credit for at least ten (10) years. Nothing could be further from the truth!

Quite often I reassure clients that come to our office to meet with an attorney regarding financial issues:
