Ed Woods is a native of and currently resides in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He is the managing partner of Bond Botes & Woods, P.C. in Jackson, Mississippi, Vicksburg, Mississippi and Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Ed’s practice is concentrated on representing financially distressed consumers in the United States Bankruptcy Court and other state and federal courts in Mississippi. Ed’s practice also includes defending consumers in debt collection lawsuits in state court and suing abusive debt collectors in the United States District Courts. He is an experienced trial attorney who has represented clients in various areas of the law during his career.
In additional to the full-time practice of law, Ed serves his community as a Justice Court Judge elected from the Northern District of Warren County, Mississippi. He has served in that capacity since being first elected in 2003 and has been re-elected for subsequent terms.

What I like best about my job
I enjoy the opportunity to meet with individuals and families who are facing financial difficulties, debt collection harassment and other legal challenges. Helping these individuals and families to finally and permanently resolve these problems is very rewarding. Seeing the stress of these problems being removed from these individuals and families makes my daily efforts personally satisfying and worthwhile.
