Leslie Woods was born and raised in Hollandale, Mississippi, and now calls Cleveland home. A proud graduate of the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science, Leslie went on to attend Millsaps College, where she graduated cum laude with honors in 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. Over the next 23 years, she prosecuted felony criminal cases and played a vital role in intervention court, working toward alternative sentencing solutions for individuals dealing with addiction. Her commitment to justice and community service defined her prosecutorial career until her retirement from public service.
