Bond, Botes & Handy, P.C. is Growing

This month is the seventh anniversary for the opening of my law firm, Bond, Botes & Handy, P.C. in Gadsden, Alabama.  While I have been a consumer bankruptcy attorney for over twenty years, it was only in 2011 that I discovered a tremendous group of partners willing to give me my first opportunity to run my own shop.

This endeavor has been a blessing to me and, I believe, to our clients.  As in all Bond & Botes offices, our attorneys understand the hardships our clients face on a daily basis.

Between all of our attorneys, we have over 200 years' worth of experience. As a group, we are committed to fighting zealously with compassion and understanding to provide a financial solution for our clients that allows their futures look bright again.

Our New Second Location Has Opened

It is for all of these reasons that I am super excited to share that Bond, Botes & Handy, P.C. has opened a second office in Anniston, Alabama.  This gives us an opportunity to serve the Calhoun, Talladega, Cleburne, and Clay counties with the same professional and caring legal services we have been able to share with folks in Northeastern Alabama.

Joey Schiffman's Background

We have hired an outstanding associate attorney, Wm. Joey Schiffman, to staff our Anniston office.  Joey earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Broadcasting from UAB in 2009.  He obtained his law school degree, a Juris Doctor, from Cumberland School of Law in 2012.

I am very proud to tell you that Joey went on to earn his LL.M. in Taxation law from Boston University in 2013.  His experience gives Joey a tremendous advantage in devising financial solutions for our clients.  He is also one of the kindest and most thoughtful young men with whom I have had the pleasure to work.
