Teaching Your Children About Money and Debt

We are joined by my good friend Stan Brown. Stan has a master’s degree in business education, spent 25 years in banking and now works with the Shelby County (AL) School System where he helped write a financial literacy curriculum for high school students. At the Bond and Botes Law Offices, we work through financial situations with individuals and families every day. This is why this week's topic is one we are particularly passionate about. Because even if parents don’t manage their finances perfectly, we have an opportunity to teach the next generation about the dangers of misusing credit.
