Bond, Botes and Woods, P.C. welcomes Merideth Drummond as a shareholder in the firm. Merideth is a 1993 graduate of Smith College with a Bachelor’s Arts degree in Government. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Mississippi College School of Law in 1998. Following law school, Merideth served as judicial law clerk for The Honorable William J. Lutz, Chancellor of the 11th District. Her legal journey continued with working for the Mississippi Department of Human Services Child Support Division where she assisted clients with paternity and child support issues. After working with the Child Support division for several years, Merideth began her focus on bankruptcy law. Merideth began by representing debtors in bankruptcy with Bond, Botes & Stover. Later, Merideth represented mortgage companies in property, foreclosure, eviction, and bankruptcy actions. Merideth joined the firm in 2018 as an associate attorney bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in consumer bankruptcy law and mortgage and foreclosure law. Since joining the firm as an associate, Merideth has continued to represent consumer clients in the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Mississippi. She manages the firm’s litigation calendar and regularly appears in court on behalf of the firm’s bankruptcy clients. She will continue to represent the firm’s clients in her new role. We welcome her as a shareholder in the firm and are pleased to also announce that the firm shall now practice as Bond, Botes, Woods and Drummond, P.C.
