Over the past 30+ years, Bond & Botes has been blessed with passionate attorneys who counsel their clients through trying times with care and attentiveness. Monica Blanding is a prime example of the passion and empathy we aim to embody as trusted partners in this practice area.
Having taken the State of Alabama Bar Exam in the summer of 2019 and becoming a licensed practitioner shortly thereafter, Monica quickly immersed herself in several meaningful legal communities. She is a member of the State of Alabama Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, and the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Birmingham Bar Association. Monica also served her community as an administrative officer at the University of Alabama – Birmingham, a volunteer for AmeriCorps/Civitan, and as an Alabama Peace Officer.
Indeed, it is easy to see why we were so proud to have Monica join the Bond & Botes family in the Fall of 2019. Throughout her tenure with us, she has exemplified empathy and understanding for clients experiencing a broad range of difficult circumstances – and during a time of unprecedented upheaval the world over. Her positive attitude and encouraging spirit benefitted clients and colleagues alike and represent just a couple of her strengths we feel will bring success to every challenge she undertakes – one being an exciting new role serving Jefferson County.
Although we will miss her dearly at Bond & Botes, we are confident that Monica’s knowledge, breadth of experience, and passionate personality will serve her – and our community – well as she takes on this new endeavor. Congratulations Monica from your Bond & Botes family!
