Judge (Ret.) Martha Lynn Sherrod has given a great deal back to both our North Alabama community and the legal profession itself. She has previously served as an assistant district attorney for Madison County, Alabama, Presiding Judge of the Huntsville Municipal Court and, finally, as a Madison County, District Court Judge. Her list of accomplishments and accolades is a mile long and one wonders if she ever has (or wants) down time for herself! Following retirement from the bench, Judge Sherrod took some well-deserved time off to care for family. She now practices with the firm of Conchin, Cloud and Cole here in Huntsville. I was happy to have a discussion with her outside of the courtroom!
