Episode 5 - Next Lawyer Up Podcast with Ron Sykstus featuring Allen Brinkley and John Brinkley

I was fortunate enough to sit down and speak with both attorneys Allen Brinkley and his son, attorney John Brinkley. As a result, this is a long podcast! Allen and John practice with another Brinkley, nephew/cousin Charles, so the firm name, Brinkley and Brinkley, makes a lot of sense.

As my partners and I often discuss, it seems like everyone in Alabama and Tennessee knows the Brinkleys. Not only are they longstanding residents of the community, they are also talented, focused and driven lawyers who are easy to communicate with and, as a rule, always go above and beyond for their clients. Additionally, Allen is the founding "Dean" of the People's Law School, an educational program put on to teach the public about legal matters in a classroom setting which is also broadcast on TV.

These are excellent lawyers and a great family. I think you will enjoy hearing from both of them. One thing especially interesting for me, given that one of my sons is considering law school, was hearing the perspective from both father and son on practicing law together as my son and I may one day practice together.
