This episode of the Next Lawyer Up podcast features attorney Amy K. Tanner. Amy has been my law partner, friend and colleague since 1999. She is originally from Montgomery, Alabama where she was born and raised. Since the work of being a lawyer is a lot about the grind, meaning putting in a great deal of time and effort on every case for every client, maybe that is why I focus on and give a great deal of deference and awe to work ethic.
I cannot imagine anyone having a stronger and more focused and driven work ethic than Amy. On top of that, even though I am board certified in Consumer Bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification, I cannot imagine that there is anyone more knowledgeable in the entire state of Alabama in the area of Consumer Bankruptcy law than Amy Tanner. For any question or concern that I have for one of my clients regarding a bankruptcy, Amy serves as my personal Google authority which makes it easy on me since all I have to do is pick up the phone to buzz her office or walk into her office and ask her the question for which I need to have a 100% definitive answer. In addition to helping all of the lawyers in our firm whenever the need arises, Amy has also previously served as the Alabama State Chair for the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA). I am very fortunate to have Amy in my life as a great friend and law partner.
