Ronald C. Sykstus Recognized as a 2014 Super Lawyer

Super Lawyers rates outstanding attorneys from seventy or more practice areas based on peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and the lawyers are chosen by considering a combination of peer nominations, independent research and peer examinations. This is  the fourth time that Ron has been recognized by Super Lawyers in the practice areas of Consumer Bankruptcy, Consumer Law and Military/Veterans Law. He was previously recognized in 2008, 2009 and 2013. Ron has worked hard, alongside the other lawyers in our firm, to build a successful and reputable practice through the years and whose paramount concern is to take the absolute best possible care of our clients in the most professional and expeditious manner possible.

Ron is also Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification. He is admitted to practice law in Alabama, Illinois, Tennessee, Washington, D.C., the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the U.S. Tax Court. He came to Huntsville to begin practice with Bond and Botes in the early 90’s following his service in the United States Army. Ron was an active duty Captain and served in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps as a trial lawyer. He received two Meritorious Service Medals during his time in the Army. His prior service to his country has fueled his interest in the areas of military law, security clearance revocation defense and veterans claims. He makes regular appearances in security clearance hearings and in the Court of Veterans Appeals helping those who served our country receive the benefits they earned and deserve.

Ron is very humble about his work and achievements however I am a proud partner to say that Ron is a Super Lawyer!
